Block Reels

Removes the Reels tab and stops reels playing in the feed. Posts, stories and messages are untouched.

Removes the search and Explore page, so they only see accounts they already follow.

Removes sponsored posts from their feed.

Hide suggested posts

Removes “suggested for you” - posts from accounts they don’t follow.

Skips the ads that appear between friends’ stories.

Removes the stories row across the top of the feed, and the story viewer with it.

Removes the main feed entirely. They can still message and use their own profile.

Hides their saved-posts collection.

Stops them adding or switching to a second Instagram login. The account switcher disappears from their app.

Hides comment threads and the comment box under posts. Captions and likes stay.

With Block Reels on, you can allow a daily number of reels and a time limit. Once either limit is reached, they stop until tomorrow. The rest of Instagram keeps working.

YouTube

Make room for videos they choose.

Empties the recommended-videos home page. They can still search and watch their subscriptions.

Removes the suggested videos beside the player, so one video doesn’t lead to five more.

Removes the suggested-video cards that cover the last seconds of a video.
